Fwd: principal reason why the Philippines continues to lag behind with its Asian neighbors in economic development is because of the lamentable absence of a wide-spread entrepreneurial orientation and a woeful lack of entrepreneurial skills among Filipinos.

Even today, our youth are still brought up on the principle that the key to success is to get a good education preferably with impressive grades to be able to find good employment in big multinational companies. One look at our more successful Asian brothers will easily reveal that their economies were founded on local entrepreneurships, not employment.

Have you seen Jesus? Have you seen Him in person? I have.

It’s the most wonderful thing! I was praying in my sanctuary, troubled by phases of quarterlife depression among other things. I was busy talking in my mind, ranting… when suddenly, for a reason I don’t know, I stopped. I looked up and I saw Him. Smiling at me.

It felt like coming from a victorious Ateneo-La Salle game.. Although, now, I’m not sure which team I’ll be rooting for. ;)

Seriously, I saw Him. Certainly I was speechless. I emerged feeling lighter, brighter, with that figurative glow around my whole being. He had the most comforting, encouraging smile. And those eyes.. I feel so starstruck.

thank you…

for my two hands…

for eyes that hurt when I stay too long in front of the computer…

for those who believe I can be…

for friends:

who cheer me up…

who spend time to call and ask how I am…

who don’t betray…

for a person who has so much faith in me…

for a million other things that I should be thankful for… thank you thank you!
