Happy New Year

Saturday, December 31st, 2005

New year na mga pare, mare!

  • Shit out the bad stuff, and flush it all down!
  • Use More colors. :)
  • No regrets!
  • Starting TODAY, I will be more efficient with time.
  • Learn how to cook.. please!!
  • The worst feeling in the world is waking up with your socks on and a headache that makes the tiniest sound resonate.
  • Cut down on the McDonald’s
  • PARTY!!
  • Sometimes you just have to close your eyes and jump, not knowing what will happen next. Putting full trust in Him.
  • More time for God.
  • I heard somewhere that you should clean your house before the new year starts. I figured that if I started now, I just might be ready for next new year.

Tuloy na tuloy pa rin ang Pasko

I keep on saying that Christmas isn’t coming… well it came. :) heheh.. no choice e. Masaya! Spent it with family. Although it wasn’t the usual "talent" show, (missed the backward playing of the piano and foot over head stunt.) it was still fun, we played games and exchanged gifts. It is a person? An animal? A concept? huh? No wait..

I missed one simbang gabi.. darn that. It was God’s way of saying.. it’s not for you.. (I’m referring to the prayer intention I usually make for the traditional simbang gabi)  tanggap ko na yun.

Love, love, love. :)

I bought my mikeyman a gift yesterday.. cute! Mickey Mouse na thumbdrive. hehe.. Inggit nga ako e. Parang gusto ko din!

Christmas = Stress

I want to sleep soooo badly.. for the past week, I had chorale competitions, midterms, choir practice, Singing engagements..naks, Christmas Parties, etc etc etc etc etc…..

I haven’t had the chance to meet with my college buddies.. gawddd! miss you soo much na! I also miss my highschool pals… come home for Christmas! (Laurs, chat tayo!) I even miss my choir! Auxilium! sorry a, hectic talaga sa chorale pero I miss you all talaga! New year’s eve sama-sama sana tayo! Office… i don’t want to see you yet! But I’m here.. o well.

Anyway, Christmas came whether I was prepared or not. Let’s CELEBRATE!

Sayang, I wasn’t able to take group pictures nung competition night. All I have are these pics:

Anyway, all the hardwork has finally paid off. Though for sure, win or lose it was a fun experience. Bawal ang negative! Basta panalo, panalo!

To those whom I have shared this experience with, THANKS SO MUCH! This will be one of my best moments of 2005.

I’m almost finished wrapping my christmas gifts.. and almost done with my list. I don’t usually give gifts pero i just thought this year maybe i should para may konting spirit..

What’s wrong? maybe I’m just too busy! Lately, I keep forgetting things, forgetting important dates… I have to write EVERYTHING down. I feel sleepy and tired..

Dialtone

My sister found this amusing. This was taken at Watson’s last week.

Be not lead astray

Sunday, December 4th, 2005

Just up the road from the Arp Family’s home is a field, with two horses in it. From a distance, each looks like every other horse. But if one stops the car, or is walking by, one will notice something quite amazing. Looking into the eyes of one horse will disclose that he is blind. His owner has chosen not to have him put down, but has made a good home for him. This alone is amazing. Listening, one will hear the sound of a bell. Looking around for the source of the sound, one will see that it comes from the smaller horse in the field. Attached to her bridle is a small bell. It lets her blind friend know where she is, so he can follow her. As one stands and watches these two friends, one sees how she is always checking on him, and that he will listen for her bell and then slowly walk to where she is trusting that she will not lead him astray. Like the owners of these two horses, God does not throw us away just because we are not perfect or because we have problems or challenges. He watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us when we are in need. Sometimes we are the blind horse being guided by God and those whom he places in our lives. Other times we are the guide horse, helping others see God.
